Australian geospatial technology firm Digital Agricultural Services (DAS), has launched a 3D mapping solution for the regional and rural property sector which it says, will enable users to easily visualise the topography of hectares of land.

Biomass Blasts Off To Map The World’s Forests
The European Space Agency’s Biomass satellite has rocketed into orbit aboard a Vega-C launch vehicle, on it’s way to map the Earth’s forests. The satellite is intended to “provide vital insights into the health and dynamics of the world’s forests, revealing how they are changing over time and critically enhancing our understanding of their role in the global carbon cycle.”

Army Surveyors Deploy To Solomon Islands
Australian Defence Vessel (ADV) Reliant deployed to Solomon Islands recently for vital survey work in the Pacific island nation. In one of the most challenging areas they surveyed, 12CEW project lead Captain Oliver Phillips said the outpost would strengthen Solomon Islands’ multi-agency border security and maritime surveillance.

First Major Works Begin On $350M Geraldton Port Transformation
