We meticulously maintain the timber’s moisture content according to Elevate Survey Supplies specifications, which enhances strength and prevents mold development.

This certification ensures adherence to the highest standards in forestry protection and management, supporting the rights of indigenous communities (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders), the safety and employment rights of forestry workers, the protection of animals and endangered species, and the preservation of crucial forests.

To maintain the quality and longevity of your survey stakes, we recommend storing them in a covered, dry area, away from direct exposure to wet weather. This helps prevent moisture from becoming trapped within the bundle.

Each of our survey stakes and pegs features an emulsified wax-sealed top end. This sealing process slows down drying, preventing splitting and extending product life by protecting the wood grain from the elements. When installing, always wear appropriate PPE and strike the stake squarely on the top. If needed, most of the protective sealant can be scraped off before installation. Always use a square-faced hammer with minimal curve on the hammer face, safety gloves, eye protection, and any other PPE required by your employer. While the emulsified wax coating reduces the risk of injuries from wood shearing and splitting, it does not eliminate them. Always adhere to your employer’s safe work procedures for placing stakes and pegs into the ground.
